What does the audio engineering course cover?
You learn by working on real sessions, not slides.
- Microphones, preamps and recording technique (Neumann, Neve 1073, Avalon)
- Pro Tools workflow, editing, gain staging and session organisation
- Understanding frequencies: EQ and compression
- Mixing: balance, space, effects and automation on the SSL SiX
- Mastering: loudness, translation and delivery for streaming
- Studio acoustics: treatment versus soundproofing, and how studios are built
Is Pro Tools the best software for audio engineering?
Pro Tools is the industry standard in professional studios, which is why we teach on Pro Tools Ultimate. The concepts (gain staging, EQ, compression, routing) apply to Logic Pro, Cubase or any DAW you use later.
Can I learn audio engineering for free online?
Free videos are great for theory, and we recommend them. What they cannot give you is time on professional gear in a treated room with an engineer correcting your ears in real time. That is what this course adds.
Questions people ask us
Do I need experience before starting?
No. The course starts from the basics of sound and recording.
How much does the course cost?
Courses start from EGP 2,000 per month for 4 sessions. Individual lessons and structured programs are both available.
Do I get a certificate or diploma?
Ask us about the certificate for the program you choose before you enrol, so you know exactly what you receive at the end.
Is the course available online?
Courses run as hands-on sessions in our studio, where you use our equipment and software. Ask us on WhatsApp whether online sessions are available for this course right now.
Who soundproofed your studio?
Our rooms were soundproofed by Silence, an Egyptian acoustics company. We use them as a live example when teaching studio acoustics.
