How much does it cost to record a song in a studio?
Studio time with an engineer is EGP 500 per hour in Room 1 or EGP 350 per hour in Room 2. Most single vocals take one to three hours depending on how prepared you are and how many layers (doubles, harmonies, ad-libs) you want.
Song packages: a commercial song (lyrics, melody, arrangement, recording, mixing & mastering, about 15 days) is EGP 10,000; a rap song (beat, recording, mixing & mastering, about 5 days) is EGP 5,000; covers start from EGP 2,500. You get a written quote before the session, so the cost of recording and arranging a song is clear upfront.
What do you get in a recording session?

Questions people ask us
How long does it take to record a song?
A prepared vocalist usually records a single in one to three hours. Production, mixing and mastering add days, not hours, and we agree the delivery date before we start.
Can I rent the studio by the hour without production?
Yes. Hourly studio hire with an engineer is EGP 500 per hour in Room 1 or EGP 350 per hour in Room 2. You can bring your own beat or producer.
Do you have a sound engineer for song recording?
Every recording session includes a sound engineer. You do not need to bring your own.
Can you record a full album?
Yes. For albums we plan the sessions, keep the sound consistent across tracks and quote the whole project at once.
What should I bring to my session?
Your beat or instrumental (WAV if possible), lyrics, and any reference tracks. Arrive 15 minutes early for setup and sound check.
How do I prepare my song before the studio?
Finish the lyrics, rehearse with the exact beat until you can sing it without reading, note the key and tempo, warm up for 10 minutes before you arrive, and bring two or three reference songs for the sound you want.
What does a "high-end" or "Class A" studio actually mean?
There is no official grading of recording studios in Egypt, so judge a studio by its named gear, rooms and engineers. Ours: Neumann U87 and TLM 103 microphones, Neve 1073 preamps, an SSL SiX console, Focal Twin6 Be monitors and acoustically treated rooms.
